How Does a Vehicle Become Certified Pre-Owned?

Being considered for the CPO program requires that a Chevy or Buick automobile be no more than six years old and has no more than 75,000 miles on it. It also requires that the vehicle have a clean title, meaning no salvage or flood vehicles are eligible. Each of these cars, trucks, and SUVs come with a free CARFAX® Vehicle History Report. Each Chevy and Buick that meets these initial requirements must pass a rigorous 172-point inspection by a factory-trained, GM-certified technician. The technician ensures that automobile's components and systems meet the very high standards of the CPO program. If it passes the inspection, the vehicle must also pass a road test. Once it has completed all these steps, the Chevy or Buick obtains the designation of Certified Pre-Owned and can be sold on our lot to our Dover, NJ customers.

Each Chevy and Buick receives a 12-month/12,000-mile Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty and a six-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty. There is also a zero deductible for any covered repair.
