What's Good About the Exterior Design?
Upgraded Wheels
The base LT will come standard with 17-inch all-season Blackwall tires. You can upgrade your tire/wheel combination to a set of road-dominating 22-inch black aluminum rims if you choose the Chevy Colorado Trial Boss. Halogen daytime running lamps and headlamps are standard, with LED fog lamps in play on higher trims.
New Tailgating Level Unlocked
The available first-in-class StowFlex Tailgate is a lockable hidden storage compartment located inside the tailgate. Imagine what you could stow inside there. Barbeque utensils, mesh folding chairs for park settings, tools-the list goes on. There's also a drain inside the hidden storage. So, you know what that means, right? Pour a bag of ice inside with a few drinks, and you've got a makeshift cooler right there. The standard 12V power outlet is available on the LT, but you can upgrade to a more powerful 120-volt box-mounted power outlet with a higher trim.

What's Good About the Performance?
There's Power Under the Hood
Each Chevy Colorado finds its "get up and go" power with a 2.7L turbocharged engine. The power outputs for the trim levels vary. The WT and LT deliver 237 horsepower and 259 lb.-ft. of torque. The Z71 and Trail Boss models add a stampede of 301 horses and 390 lb.-ft. of torque. But the ZR2 is the mightiest of them all, with 310 horsepower and a powerful burst with 430 lb.-ft. of torque.
Towing Capacity
The base model Chevy Colorado can pull up to 3,500 lbs. That's respectable for light-duty work in Parsippany. But if you're looking for more towing power, you'll want to upgrade to the Trail Boss or Z71 trim. These two models have the capacity to pull up to 7,700 lbs., giving the Chevy Colorado best-in-class towing.

Front bucket seats and jet-black cloth upholstery decorate entry-level trims for the Chevy Colorado.
